FORO BAI 2026 opens with Rafael Argullol, one of the most prominent voices in contemporary Hispanic thought. Under the title “Between Faust and Mephistopheles: A New Humanism,” the session will take the form of a conversation with Eduardo Prieto and Francisco Mangado, offering a reflection on the tensions between knowledge, technique, culture, and responsibility in the contemporary world. From a humanistic and critical perspective, the discussion will raise questions about the role of thought in an era marked by technological acceleration and profound transformations in cultural frameworks. With this opening lecture, FORO BAI positions architectural debate in dialogue with the humanities and reinforces its commitment to fostering a broader public conversation. The lecture will take place on March 26, 2026, at 18:30 in the Salón Pinaquy, the former church of the Salesas Convent in Pamplona. Free admission until full capacity.
