Construction of the BAI Institute headquarters is already underway

Last September, renovation work began on the buildings that will house the National Institute of Industrialization and Construction Robotics. The headquarters are strategically located near the University of Navarra and close to the future Circular City and Technology Hub of Navarra. The two adjacent buildings undergoing renovation have had various uses over time, ranging from storage to production. Images taken during the October 23 site visit show the powerful reinforced concrete structure supporting the building's roofs. They are made of different materials: one consists of ceramic trusses supported by reinforced concrete corbels and braced with metal tensioners, while the other consists of metal trusses braced with tensioners. The current layout of both buildings is perfectly suited to the need for two separate areas for the construction of prototypes and for offices and workshops, that must function in permanent dependence on each other.
