BAI took part in REBUILD 2026, one of the leading international events in the fields of building, industrialisation and innovation in construction, with a double participation that reinforces its role in the debates shaping the transformation of the sector.

On Tuesday, 24 March, Eduardo Prieto, BAI’s Technical Director, took part in the session “Innovation and Digitalisation: BIM, LEAN, robots, digital twins,” held from 10:45 to 11:30 in the Auditorium Molins, within the Industrialisation Forum by the Construction Clusters Network. The round table focused on technology, automation and the transfer of methodologies from other sectors into construction, also incorporating tools for measuring sustainability and resource use. Alongside Eduardo Prieto were Antón Borraz Mir, IT Director at Grupo LOBE, and Alejandro Aguirre de Cárcer Domínguez, CEO of Brainsre, with moderation by Antonio Gargallo Jurado, Cluster Manager of CICA.

Two days later, on Thursday, 26 March, from 12:00 to 12:45, Fernando Moral, BAI’s Industrial Project Advisor, moderated the session “Industrialisation, Robotisation and Construction: What are the legal challenges of this paradigm shift?” This discussion focused on the legal framework, as well as the regulatory, administrative and liability challenges accompanying the shift in the construction production model. The session brought together leading specialists from the legal, regulatory and business fields, including Carlos Peña (Andersen), Victoria Clemente (KPMG), Elena Gayo (Spanish Association for Standardisation – UNE), Pedro Pérez-Caballero (Cuatrecasas), and Martín Zudaire (Zubiri & Zudaire).

Through this participation, BAI reaffirms its active involvement in the forums where not only the technical opportunities of industrialisation are discussed, but also its organisational, legal and strategic implications for the future of architecture and construction.
